Yooo! It took some time, but here we are!
The last chapter of Hen na Nee-san is now available for all to see in the glorious language of Shakespeare.
I place the blame on work, school and a new game of Fire Emblem Awekening. ❤ Nowi.
Plus, that last chapter was longer and text-heavy. Hopefully, Asriel was present to make sure it was correct! Arigatou!

I’m very happy to have finished the scanlation of a full volume, but I shall not rest yet!!!
Seiai Scans next project will be School Ningyo, another crazy manga by Yoshitomi Akihito. It’s 2 volumes long and you can already read the first three chapters on Batoto thanks to the now defunct scanlation team Strays.

 

Finally, I really hope Hen na Nee-san or anything scanlated here get an official English release one day, digitally or physically. Good manga should be published. Just my two cents targeted at the not-really-sleeping-but-not-really-awake English manga publishing world～

Offering the releases via torrent sure was a good idea. The subsequent visibility boost was very nice. It also helped that the series was put up on MangaFox followed by other various aggregators. I didn’t even have to do it myself! Thanks Internet!

SliceOfLife : I found the second -pretty big- volume of Sasameke for 5$ in a con (already had the first, also found for cheap in a con a few years before). Awesome soccer comedy manga by Gotsubo Ryuji. And what do I find when looking at his other works? Not only were the other volumes related to Sasameke never officially released, they weren’t even scanlated! In fact, no other series by him was ever completely scanlated! Outrageous! I didn’t check for the others, but I got the raws for AniKoi up to volume 3 (synopsis below). If you want to work on this or any of his works, let me know! /rant

Takatoki is a high-school boy with an intense obsession for manga and anime. He desperately wants a typical anime romance with a girl who falls into a typical female anime stereotype. His childhood friend Chiyoko, a very unladylike girl who is a notorious fighter, tries in vain to get his mind back to reality.
One day, the two of them run into a girl in a sailor schoolgirl outfit being threatened by a generic band of thugs. As Chiyoko beats up the thugs, Takatoki learns that the girl, Asadzuma Youtsugi, is a cosplayer who wants to lead the life of an anime character. Was this Takatoki’s fated first encounter with his future anime lover!?
